Changing your thoughts begins with observation. If you notice you’re habitually going to negative, anticipatory anxieties, first simply realize when you’re doing it. Make a mental note, “They’re coming up now.” or “They came up three times today.” Only when you’re aware that they’re happening can you talk back with: “I’m going to be fine, no matter what happens. I’m okay.”
